FORMING TRUSTED COMMUNITY LEADERS

United Methodist pastors...

Lead. Teach. Inspire. Comfort. Transform. Heal.  Serve. MAKE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE WORLD.

Their impact is immeasurable.

Their responsibilities, set in a complex world, demand a dynamic, robust, theological education. Yet many faithful followers who are called to ministry face tremendous, sometimes insurmountable, challenges in obtaining theological education. The biggest challenges are often encountered in the central conferences-the very regions of our Church where strong leadership is needed as we experience tremendous growth. As a global, connectional Church, we must address this. The Council of Bishops took the first steps by signing a resolution. Now it’s our turn. Learn more
